WHAT IS REIKI?
Reiki is a form of healing that uses energy channeled through a practitioner’s hands to improve and restore health and wellbeing. When one is attuned to and trained in the practice of Reiki they may heal themselves, others, as well as perform long distance healing.
Reiki heals by flowing through the affected parts of the energy field and charging them with positive energy. In targeting the release of harmful energies and improving the overall resonance of the client, Reiki helps restore balance and bring the body to optimal health.
Although ancient indigenous practices widely use “Ki” or “Qi” energy healing modalities across cultural contexts,
Blue Star Reiki is rooted in the healing methods used in Ancient Egypt
and Usui Reiki is the traditional Japanese modality of Reiki,
initiated by Mikao Usui Sensei, and later introduced to the Western World, firstly in Hawaii,
by Dr. Hayashi and Ms. Takata in the 1930s.
Reiki is a healing modality that can be learned and practiced by everyone regardless of age, gender, or physical abilities.*

With over eight years of experience practicing Reiki, I completed my Reiki Master in Usui Reiki in 2018, as well as my Blue Star Reiki Master in 2019.
As someone who is led by the heart, I aim to make a positive impact on the world by empowering people to heal, help others and lead healthy lives.
By teaching Reiki, I hope to help people heal themselves, their families, their loved ones and even build strong income for themselves while serving their community.

Teaching
As a teacher, I offer Courses in many locations across the World.
The Level 1 Usui Reiki or Blue Star Reiki Training and Certification Program is an intensive one-day, introductory course, offered at a variety of locations internationally. Usually available a day prior to the week long Master Training Programs at retreat locations to fulfill the pre-requisite requirement for prospective Master Reiki students who may not already have that requirement completed. The level 1 training offers an essential educational foundation in Reiki and is a required pre-requisite prior to enrolling in any Master / Level 2 & 3 Training programs.
The Level 2 & 3 Usui Reiki Master Training, as well as Level 2 & 3 Blue Star Reiki Master Training are offered as combination retreat courses at serene locations in the midst of nature, in which students can obtain their Master Certifications within a delightful and informative one week program, while relaxing, connecting with nature and enriching their mental, emotional and spiritual growth. Upon completion of either Master Training Programs, the student will be a certified Reiki Master, qualified to teach and practice Reiki. (Please note the importance of allowing for time and practice of learned concepts prior to advancing into teaching or expanding your professional practice).
Once you have achieved the Master Reiki attunements, you are qualified to attune others into Reiki as you teach and train new Reiki Masters and contribute to the Ms. Takata Usui Reiki lineage.
Offering well-rounded course material and a positive approach, I am knowledgeable in many healing modalities, tools and practices which can be used to support and enhance Reiki practice, as well as simply improve day-to-day activities and overall well-being.
During the week long Master Training programs, I always aim to include at least three optional workshops in a topic that will enhance the students' practice and widen their exposure to healing methods and positive practices. I also incorporate engaging activities throughout the Week long Master Training programs to enrich the spiritual growth and positive vibes attained during the week. Outside of Reiki, I have varied work experience working in Government, Non-profits and within tourism abroad. I love travelling, learning new sports, connecting with new people and being in nature. I have seven years of experience working with youth in the community, giving me the experience to comfortably and successfully facilitate training oriented towards families or youth groups. Within my academic background, I have completed an MA in Political Economy, graduate courses in Legal Studies, and a BA in Economics completed with a successful academic publication focusing on Arab Women's economic achievements.
Most Importantly, I am a dog-mom and an active Animal Rescuer with experience directly rescuing and rehabilitating both cats and dogs, while being fully responsible for all medical and travel procedures required to facilitate adoption.
**(YES, I offer discounts to students willing to be "flight-parents" and take back rescued dogs or cats, at no additional cost, transporting them from the program host- country to prospective fosters or adoptions in the student's home country or return destination - this offer is limited to the time permitted to prepare a rescue animal for travel and adoption)**
